Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison is committed to transforming from a telco company to an AI Native TechCo, by maximizing the use of artificial intelligence or AI.
Indosat seeks to utilize AI throughout its operations. Previously, AI was used to improve network services to customers, now through a partnership with Microsoft, Indosat uses Copilot for Microsoft 365 to increase productivity and connect people throughout Indonesia.
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Chief Digital Officer Sanjeev Rawat said that Indosat is partnering with Microsoft not only to integrate artificial intelligence into the company’s strategy, but also to foster a culture of innovation.
“We aim to empower every individual through solutions enriched by artificial intelligence and ensure technology can have a positive impact on society,” said Sanjeev.
Indosat’s approach is in line with Microsoft’s study, where 92 percent of Indonesian professionals utilize generative AI in the workplace.
92 percent of leaders consider AI important to increase competitiveness. This high adoption rate shows the importance of utilizing AI in various levels of the workforce.
Sanjeev revealed that as a team involved in technology and digital operations, his team often gets bogged down in technical aspects, leaving little time for routine tasks. For example, for creating documents and content management.
Increase Productivity
“Copilot for Microsoft 365 becomes our partner, as if having an intelligent assistant, this tool simplifies our tasks,” he said.
Apart from increasing productivity, AI also allows the workforce to focus on strategic matters for customer service.
“By managing efficient resources, Indosat can improve the quality of service to more than 100 million customers while encouraging company growth,” he said.
Copilot for Microsoft 360 is claimed to be able to simplify various jobs. For example, for things like arranging meeting schedules, summarizing meeting minutes, preparing emails, and much more.
